  • A thing that one is required to do as part of a job, role, or legal obligation

Discuss the accountabilities and responsibilities required for the mentoring agreement from the mentor’s perspective:

  • Has knowledge of what is required for a successful mentoring agreement
  • Accountable for creating a safe environment for both parties to learn and grow
  • Is accountable to ensure process addresses personal and professional.
  • Responsible for ensuring the learning agreement is discussed and signed
  • Oversees the journey
  • Guides and does not tell
  • Ensures documentation as required is done
