Define standards:
- a level of quality or attainment.
Define ethical standards:
- Principles that when followed, promote values such as trust, good behavior, fairness, and/or kindness.
- Mentoring relationships are framed as fiduciary relationships in which mentors own a fundamental obligation to avoid harm to the mentee and to promote the mentee's best interests whenever possible.
List the ethical standards appropriate to the mentoring arrangement:
- Members will do their utmost to understand their clients’ and sponsors’ expectations and reach agreement on how they plan to meet them.
